Juliette & Chocolate

1615 Rue St-Denis, Montreal

Who could pass up the opportunity to avoid this delightful and delectable chocolate shop on Rue St-Denis, a busy street not far from the heart of Montreal. Once again on Rue St-Denis this little eatery is tucked away just off the sidewalk and is especially busy come dessert time. Their menu ranges from what we would call enormous crepes to little treats such as home made gluten free brownies. As the title suggests there is plenty of chocolate to offer and for the chocolate lover I would not give this place a miss. The servers spoke both a mixture of french and english and were very friendly and provided pleasant service.

Le Balsamico
Dark Chocolate, raspberries, balsamic vinegar reduction

Le Fleur de Sel
White Chocolate and Dark Chocolate cake chunks in our brownie mix with Fleur de sel caramel

Wow, wow and wow. That's about all we can say for these delectable treats. Great for Maddie as she is gluten free (most of the time). Filled with rich chocolate flavour, crunchy on the outside and gooey in the middle, just the way it's meant to be. Both sauces provided the brownie with a definite zing, and that certain wow factor that we had been looking for. Mmmm, mmmm this is a must stop no matter.

Food was fantastic however service lacked what the food provided

Rating:

4 Devils out of 5.

Quebec City Beware, cause.....
